“POBEG” in Russian means ‘escape’. The story is about the escape nature provides from society’s oppression. This topic is close to my heart. Finding this escape not only helps with forgetting about the pressure i experience living in homophobic surroundings but also giving a chance to experience true freedom. This is my first big project since coming out with Vogue Russia.
