Femme’s Guide to the Universe

This quilt is a femmage to Shar Rednour and her brilliant book of the same title. The central image is based on a portrait taken by Phyllis Christopher who also worked for On Our Backs magazine. This work celebrates the power of the femme lesbian who is often erased or invisible.
