Lionesses

Original embroidery design of the Sierra de Francia (Salamanca) based on its symbols, materials and traditional colors applied to a vintage denim jacket from local trade. It represents two lionesses (symbol of strength) in love (because they are facing each other with their eyes back), independent (traditionally they are represented with her cubs) and belonging to different cultures (Christian and Muslim – both influential in this art).
