Rewriting the stories of queer lives
To be yourself in a world that perceives you as deviant is a courageous and revolutionary act. The discourse of cisheteronormativity weighs on the daily efforts of queer people to exist and to figure their presence within a European landscape that has erased their subjectivity at the intersection of gender and sexuality. Being a lesbian myself, I try to make our experiences visible through photography and writing, in order to rewrite the stories of queer lives that have been erased from history.

As a biracial lesbian woman, I often don't see myself reflected in the world that is centered around maleness, heterosexuality and white normativity. Via photography and writing I aim to change this.
